I havent seen the assault vest or the m1 garand belt used to carry bandages but there was a three pocket belt attachment that carried two carlisle bandages in each pocket....it is similar in form to the three pocket grenade carrier. Both have leg tie straps.

Medical insignia

Would an airborne medic of the 326th Medical Detach. of the 101st have worn any identifying cloth insignia in addition to the 101st Eagle and the Airborne shoulder patch.

medic in combat during reenactments

Hi all"
Id be interested in what different medics do in combat scenarios....ie....what do they do when someone is wounded in terms of bandaging, etc.....

maybe it all depends on the scenario but Im mainly thinking of what goes on in tactical events.

many thanks

shoulder patch for 101st airborne medic

Was needing some advice as a newbie here. Would a medic attached to the 502 PIR of the 101st wear the 101st Airborne shoulder patch. If I am correct I understand that medical personnel of the 101st were provided by the 326th Medical. Wanting to make sure Im correct on my patch. Many thanks! John
