Re: Basic instrument set 932100 now with pictures!

Hi Medicall,

is there a manufacturers name on the inside of the outer case? That might give a clue.
Only explanation i can think of is that your set is produced more recently, perhaps 50's or 60's and has a more modern item number. But i'm no expert!

Re: Basic instrument set 932100 now with pictures!

Alain,
thanks for your reply! Do you have any idea about the numbers on the back of the tan case? They look too long for a service number to me but i'm a novice in this field.

Basic instrument set 932100 now with pictures!

Hi there,

I have been offered a basic instrument set, item 932100. So all ten cases ( no instruments though) and the outer case.
What would be a fair price for this?

Re: Geneva Cross flag

My best guess is that is was used on a tent or building: with the flagpole at an angle upward the flag is hanging straight down en can therefore be seen without folding.

But no hard evidence..

Organisational question.

I have a question: are the medical detachments of a combat unit providing first echelon care from an organisational pov part of a medical bn ( providing second echelon care) or not? So would a medic in an armored infantry unit in the 4th AD be a member of the 46th armored med bn or be completely sep...

Re: 46th arm med bn

I'm thinking about what sort of extra's i could put on my jeep. Apart from musset bags etc, what specific items would you advise me to seek to complete the picture of my HQ med bn- jeep?

What would this jeep be carrying in WWII?
