Re: Medical Carps blankets

Hi,

As Ben, I consider every USMD item showing a caduceus as "post-wwII"... Most of the items I've seen showing the caduceus were also showing the 1947 item codification (when item codification is available on the item).

Any information about the specs would be appreciated !

Re: MD 2 chest trays

Hi Ben, Many many thanks for your answer and nice pics. I was not searching for "correct" colors but for "regular" ones... that does not exists in fact. Finally I conclude it looks like every color is a mix of supplier's choice, and aging over the years and storing conditions ! T...

Re: 9310000 - Case, Ward, Complete

Hello Ben, Thank you for your comprehensive answer but, according to me, we still facing a gap between the set you are presenting (plus listing of catalog over the years 42-44) and the roller itself shown on my pics as well as JBSaxon's one. The long rectangular print does not match with two boxes o...

Re: 9310000 - Case, Ward, Complete

Thanks Doc for the clue, you may be obviously true but... Aren't these knives redundant with? 3336500 "Knife, Operating, Handle No. 3" 3336900 "Knife, Operating, Blade No. 10, 6" 3337000 "Knife, Operating, Blade No. 11, 6" In addition the draw of the form is much longer...

9310000 - Case, Ward, Complete

Hello, I have in hands and I'm still trying hard to complete a " 9310000 - Case, Ward, Complete " that seems to be the latest model for WWII, precisely subsequent to set used during 1941-1943 period you describe here: http://www.med-dept.com/instrument_sets.php The content displayed in USM...

I've just grab an empty MD chest, I want to complete it as you have done and turn it into a MD 2. This leads me to some additional questions: 1 - The trays are not marked in the same way...

Re: a dilema

Hi Dave, In my humble point of view I do not see why aging should cut you from what have been and still are your passions for years. You're best known as a "mountain" specialist, as the pillar of your interests is there a different way -than shows or reenacting- through which you can share...
