Re: [REF] Preparation for Overseas Movement Markings

Bringing an old thread back if I may. I acquired another POM marked duffle bag. The numbers stenciled on appear to be "8081" and "10340 HHH" Any idea on what the unit and/or the insignia is?

Re: [REF] Preparation for Overseas Movement Markings

Thank you for the reply Ben. The information has to be available somewhere! You'd think it would be easy to find. I do appreciate any help you may have to offer in the future.

Best Regards,
Michael

I'm also interested in the 110th Medical Battalion (Nebraska National Guard). In the not so distant past I was heavily...

Re: [REF] Preparation for Overseas Movement Markings

Here is another POM marked duffel bag I picked up recently. The bar code (Maroon-Blue-Maroon) is the same as found on one of BGen Butler B Miltonberger's foot lockers which is located in the Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward, Nebraska. Gen Miltonberger was the Regimental Commander of the 134t...

Re: [REF] Preparation for Overseas Movement Markings

Hello. I am attempting to do some research on the POM markings and serial numbers for the 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division which landed in Normandy on 5 July 1944. I have a few bar codes I'd like to share. The first one is on a named and tagged duffel bad belonging to Pfc Clyde Mummer...
