Plasma Boxes

Can anyone tell me if the boxes containing the plasma cans were wrapped in a brown (waterproof) paper, or is the card board box all that is visible on the outside. I've been studying the many images and I don't see any seams at the edges. Also was there a card board divider in the center of the bott...

Re: caduceus decal

Steevo, I went to Risk Larson's military stencils at www.militarystencils.com. Rick carries a decal for the squad first aid kit for $12.00. It seems a waste but I cut the caduceus out from the rest of the decal, but its right on for size and lettering. Hope this helps.

MD #2 chest question

Does anyone know what the letters on my original MD2 chest mean? The ones above the letter M in the pictures?
Also the markings to the left of the hasp?
Also I have posted here an original photo of an early ambulance, with MD chest and trays posed in the fore ground.

Re: Hello from Michigan

Thanks for the comments on the tray set. I worked really hard restoring the MD boxes and tray sets. It has been a challenge fining original and repro stuff to put in them!

Re: Hello from Michigan

Here are some of the photos of the ambulance when we first acquired it. Plywood back doors, rusted through.
I did an off body restoration replacing all the wire harness, taking the body and the chassis down to bare metal then
electroplating them.
