Here's a photo of the box. It has the same dimensions a POW parcel box. Any thoughts on whether or not this is a WWII- POW medical box or just a WWII Red Cross item?

Thanks for the replies. I'll get the pictures up later in the week. I did read about the parcels and checked out the photos but the box I have although stamped in green does not have the POW information. Thanks again, I'll get some pics ASAP. :D

What are the small wax paper wrapped bandages next to the styrette box in the first picture? I just picked up 2 of them dated 1943 and am not sure what they were originally intended for.

I know that there are WWII examples that specifically state it is for Prisoner of War issue. What about the boxes that are identical in size, have the grren writing but do not state tha...
