Hi,
Thanks guys for your replies. Looks like I'm not the only one after one, yes Ben its the black rubber stopper I'm after ,or I assume it is as thats whats in the bottle and it looks like its the original stopper. Thanks.

Rubber I.V bottle stopper

Hi, can anyone tell me if or where you can get the rubber stoppers that fit in the end of I.V bottles and the metal screw cap that holds it in place, as I have a large I.V bottle I want to use on my display but the rubber stopper has perished a bit and is a little fragile, and the metal screw on cap...

Thanks again we have decided not to paint it but to lightly rub it down and as you say coat it in some sort of anti rust solution, thanks for the suggestion.Cheers

Hi Ben,
Yes it was, thanks for the reply we will give it a look. Its a nice lamp, Dads going to give it a clean up, he was going to paint it but the lamp is not painted dad says its just galvanised metal in colour,so hes not sure weather to or not? Thanks again Ben.

Hi Ben, Yet another great bit of info.I had not come across anything about allied hospital trains before, only the odd picture. Did the Germans use captured allied medical staff to help out with their injured,like in the last picture of german P.O.Ws helping out with allied casualties. 8) Daz
