I do not agree with the previous statements you were INDEED initially a member of the 1st Med Bn, but since your attachment to a Medical Detachment pertaining to an Infantry Regiment, you are considered to be a member of that outfit ! Please bear in mind that those 'medics' were considered as true ...

cheers for info mate. I thought that i can be a medic in the first infantry unit, as a private (medic) , and not in the 1st MB, is that possible? You will be a medic in the 1st infantry but as far as i'm aware firstly you would have done your initial (infantry) training then you go off to do you sp...

Welcome :D I was one of the medics in the 1st (ww2lha) so one bit of advice if you want to represent a 1st medical battalion medic is either repaint your helmet shell in OD or get a spare helmet shell ,net & red cross brassard, matt. P.S have a shave. P.P.S bin the 16th infantry DUI on your cap ...
