Re: litter support bracket 9779000

I'm still searching as well David. I finally picked up an original chest, but it was missing everything in the lid and the drawers (trays).

Re: [REF] Chest MD No 1 contents

Can someone post dimensions or drawings of actual the actual drawers that are part of the MD1 chest?

Would also like to see dimensions, drawings, or close up photos of the litter brackets that were used.

Re: Litter IV poles

From what I have seen in the 1944 USMD catalog, there is only two IV poles - 7823000 Irrigator Stand and 9930500 Irrigator Stand, Folding. Stand 7823000 is not illustrated in the catalog but 9930500 is. The folding stand looks like one of the three legged collapsible speaker stands you find in the m...

FM 8-10 can be found here. Just scroll down to the FM8 section and you will find other Medical FMs as well. You can also go here to download some of the USMD green books which are great resources for understanding how the USMD did its business during the war.

Re: Need some help with my new impression !!

Hi Tay - I appreciate your excitement about portraying a medical unit and the Evac Hospital would certainly be respectable, but I agree with Dirk that it would be a huge effort. If you look at personnel alone, the Semi-Mobile Evac Hospital had a staff of nearly 300, 400 beds and had a minimum footpr...

Set Gas Casualty M2

I'll add some more pics of the kit as I have time, but wanted to start with this. Just got it and don't actually have it yet. This is an "Apron Impermeable Protective M1" that is part of the M2 Gas Casualty Set. 9903000 Apron Impermeable Protective M1 Large 1e.JPG 9903000 Apron Impermeable...

Unfortunately, they aren't mine. Just some chairs that I saw at a military show couple years ago.
