Re: Mountain Division medic

There are some wide variations in what was worn at what time. I personally have about 1200 photos of the 10th in combat and access to another 8000+ through the Resource Center. If combat in Italy is the image you are looking for, both the M-43 and the Mountain Field Jacket are worn, and many of the ...

Re: Mountain Division medic

Somehow I missed this post. I've been working with the 10th Mountain veterans (including several medics) for almost 30 years. What is it you'd like to know about what time period? I may be able to fill in blanks for you...

Re: Atropine syrettes

I'm hoping one of us Yanks can find a home for this - I don't want to put it on e-bay if someone here can use 'em.

Atropine syrettes - SOLD

I tried to send these to Ben and found they are not allowed for export, so this is just for US collectors only. I have a full carton of 12 Atropine syrettes (used for chem warfare treatment) Carton of 12 - no, I won't split them up. I'll consider trades for WWII medical items (Chaplain or Mountain, ...

unit shirts - gifts for the Holidays

Every year at the Holidays, my kids would ask me what I wanted for my hobby. Somehow they never did find me that USMC 1942 Springfield with the Sedgely barrel and that funny Unertil scope that I wanted, or the folding Mountain litter, but they always wanted to find SOMETHING they could give me. This...

Re: WW2 Picker X Ray, Free to Good Home

I had one of these - "HEAVY" is an understatement. I think it's the Sherman Tank of medical items - but very cool. Mine worked and took me 3 years to find it's new home (in the Fitzsimmons Army Hospital Museum)

Re: AAF Medical Uniforms

My father's EM uniform when not on the flight line was winter Class B uniform with soft cap, tie and no leggings unless on the gate guard detail. He wasn't flight crew, but had an A2 for working the line or taking engineering test flights. He indicated to me that most of the guys who met the planes ...

Repro Plasma kit

A friend here in Colorado USA is a professional printer, and has decided to reproduce some both common and uncommon items for the reenacting community. Robb is a compulsive perfectionist, and one of his "projects" is to repro the complete Plasma kit. I have loaned him an un-opened late war...
