Bill, Based on Roger's photo from MED 3 and the other photos in MED 3, I am not sure if there were any markings on the can (but that does not necessarily negate the possibility). Also, the can shown and detailed is what is known as a F-Style Can. I have had difficulty locating a half gallon F-Style ...

I picked up green flashed globes from lanternnet.com. That is, they are flashed with a green tint vs. solid green glass. According to some quick research I did, globes at the time (not necessarily limited to just med department globes) could be flashed or solid colored.

Hope that helps!

Green Lantern Globes?

With the production of the lantern crates by Steve Bieniek, I have procured nearly every item I need to fill the crate. I am just missing the 1/2 gallon F-Style can. Having procured the green globes, I need to know something about them. What are the green globes for? This may be a simple question/si...

Wow, wow and more wow! My crate showed up on my front doorstep this afternoon and I must say that I am very, very satisfied with the craftsmanship and crate! Just beautiful! Now I just need to wait for my W.T. Kirkman lantern order to show up and I will be set! http://www.309th.com/Images/Lantern_Cr...

Perfect Ben! Thanks! As far as the different lanterns, my copy of MED3 has a good itemized listing of lanterns available. Thank you anyway for the suggestion though. Off topic for just a second, where is a good source for either a copy, text, reprint or original of MED6? I have not been able to loca...

I have ordered one of these crates from Steve and am in the midst of procuring the items to fill the crate. I have a copy of the MED 3 catalog but do not have a copy of the MED 6 catalog that outlines the individual components of the kit. The plate located in the MED 3 catalog for the lantern set in...

Medical Soft Pack for Packboard

Packboards are plentiful at this time, so it is not a problem procuring one of those. However, I would like to locate one of the Medical Soft Packs for the Packboards that replaced the MD Chests. I got some decent information from docdean, but would like to know if anyone else knows of any sources f...

That is awesome Martyn! I would love to have a couple of good scans of the Abbott bottles on the right side of the picture. If you do that for me, I can easily reproduce those labels and post it here. Also, if you could give me the exact width, or as close as you can, for the bottle, it would greatl...

Halazone Tablets Vial?

Anyone have some good pics/scans of the four-sided, square Halazone bottle labels? I would like to repro the label but none of the pics that I have show all sides nor are they clear enough either.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the compliment! The stencil is actually a "Ben-Special". That is, I snagged the logo Ben posted here: http://www.med-dept.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10, printed it out, cut it by hand, used some aerosol elmers and painted away! The "309 M BN D" was just something I made...
