Dave,

I wonder whether it would be possible for you to post an image of the plasma box with the markings, I certainly would be most interested in seeing it.

Thanks again for your continued information,
Ben

Seeking Veterans' Stories

We are anxious to post up some first hand accounts of medics that served in any theatre during the Second World War, and would welcome any information that could be supplied. If you are able to help, contact us using ou...

Perosnally, I would hesitate about using those stencils posted on Rick Larsen's site. Some collectors have suggested that the stencil of U caduceus S is actually a postwar insignia, introduced late on in 1949. From the research that I did when writing the Medical Chest article, the insignia featurin...

I have a couple of these, and would be wiilling to trade one of them for a bi-folding aluminium litter (i.e. 9938000 - Litter, Folding, Aluminum).

Let me know if you are interested in a trade.
Many thanks,
Ben

Doc, My appologies. The PVA that I refer to is a white wood adhesive, that when dry, is clear. The original chests that are in my collection both have this later war logo on them, and both appear to have been applied in the same manner (i.e. positioned on the chest, and then glue applied over the wh...

Doc, I have uploaded the necessary image that you have asked for. What you will need to do is print it out on some transfer paper, or perhaps just reguilar paper, and then apply using PVA over the top (as per the originals). Kindly let me know your thoughts on it. You can download the image from the...

Doc, A kit that you are looking for was recently for sale on eBay, but unfortunately the seller removed it before I could place a bid. I did however manage to save some of the photographs that were posted on the listing. I have uploaded them to the website, and you can download them from the followi...
