It is not a stock item. I suppose it could a "rigger " made piece, but where would you get the green canvas and strap

I have herd and seen photos of medic's using all kinds of bags in the field but this is not one of them

Your chest is in very good condition, mine is a little battered and brused, I think it was use as a tool box at some time.
I found it at an antiques werehouse and cost the princely sum of £22

I think someone is taking the wotsit here, my box of five complete syrettes cost me £35, and I am sure that Ben is right on the mark for the current prices.
I know things have gone up a bit but that is just silly money.
are we talking about military antique or the street value of the contents.

The display is outstanding , the dioramas are realy top class, the effect of the river crossing is very good indeed.
the cabinet of medical finds is fantastic.
well done to all those involved in the expo a great museum.

The head of the school has given us the go ahead to errect a memorial to the 50th in the school grounds where to hospital pitched their tents.
