AAF ambulance driver

Sun Mar 30, 2014 03:26

What would a ambulance driver with a army air force unit wear on his class A collar. Would he wear the AAF collar disc or medical collar disc.
Also his overseas hat would it have the AAF piping or Medical piping.

Thanks

Hi (kindly state your first name),

Since he is an Ambulance driver, thus using a medical vehicle, he would wear collar discs with US + Caduceus, and his corresponding garrison cap would be adorned with the typical medical piping (maroon/white), although the latter (i.e. piping) was not always worn.
His shoulder sleeve insignia would be the one pertaining to the AAF unit he serves with.

I hope the above answers your query.
Best wishes,
Alain
