hello members -
i hope this is not an inappropriate place to ask this question, if yes, pls forgive me.
my dad was an army medic of some sort during WWII, maybe surgical.
i know he served in europe, including belgium, france and off shore during the normandy invasion.
his unit insignia badge (at least i think that's what it was) was an image of a human leg, pierced by an arrow, on a red background.
i seem to remember the leg and arrow were silver metal, and the red background was enamel.
there may have been words at top or bottom, i don't recall.
if i could acquire an image of this badge, perhaps a photo or a digital scan, i'd be eternally grateful.
thanks for your time.
