I bought a flag from Allied workshops and see one for sale here. Which is better?

Ambulance Flag/Marker

Tue Jan 13, 2009 10:25

Hi tractor,
I cannot judge Allied Workshops' work, as I haven't seen their product !
Do me a favor, and measure the Red Cross on the flag, and also check whether it has a pole sleeve label, reinforced pole sleeve, two leather tabs, and double-sided Geneva Convention symbols .
I did purchase a few of their products, but they badly 'overcharged' me for overseas postage & handling . I also discovered that some of their products are not entirely correct with WW2 specs, and suspect some items may not be of their 'own' manufacture ...
As a general statement, I will say, that 'my' products always have a 'certain' feature to recognize them as reproductions (this applies to the Medical ID Card, the EMT Book, and the Ambulance Flag/Marker) .
Looking further to your comments ,

The flag is at home sadly and I am away at college. I can check on it when I head home next month
