Hello from Michigan! I would like to introduce myself and my wife Beth. We have a 1/2 ton WC27 Dodge Ambulance that I restored and have been working on a battalion aid station impression. I appreciate being a part of this site and look forward to sharing and getting information. Here are some photos of a recent air show near our home. I have attached pictures of our set up.

Welcome to the site.

Looks like a great set up and vehicle restoration.

Do you have any photos of before the restoration?

Also the tray set looks great and like new.

Cheers
Andrew

Here are some of the photos of the ambulance when we first acquired it. Plywood back doors, rusted through.
I did an off body restoration replacing all the wire harness, taking the body and the chassis down to bare metal then
electroplating them.

Thanks for the comments on the tray set. I worked really hard restoring the MD boxes and tray sets. It has been a challenge fining original and repro stuff to put in them!

Hi Jim

Congratulations on the ambulance looks like you appropriately brought it back from the dead.

Thanks for the photos.

Re: contents of tray set. Is there any specific contents you are looking for? People here may be able to help. I have a number of templates for reproduction boxes etc. some were posted here but have been lost from the site. If I have some thing you need I can post. I will try to put back on site at some time in future (in the middle of exams at moment).

MD boxes and tray sets are something I would like to try and reproduce at some stage (postage to Australia of originals is a bit prohibitive.

Great work!

Andrew
