Hello from Germany

Tue Dec 30, 2008 19:17

Hello I am David from Germany. I do reenacting now for 20 years in different periods – Celtic, Middle Ages, Napoleonic and WWII. This year I started the display of a Dental Officer U.S. Army because my wife wants to act as a nurse – she is a registered nurse in real life and I am an officer in the German Armed Forces Medical Department. Together with one more nurse and a surgeon who is a friend of us we are working on a display as a maxillofacial surgical team in the ETO. Greets, David

I lived in Germany for three years when I was in the Army. What a great country. Welcome to the forum. Michael

Welcome to the gang David!
I hope that your time here will be enjoyable, and that you will be able to get some information useful for your scenario. A Maxillo-Facial Surgical Team would certainly be an interesting idea, and I look forward to seeing some photographs of the scenario when you're able to get it together. In case you should have any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to ask on here. There are plenty of people here who will be more than willing to help you out!
Thanks and good luck with your project,
Ben

Well, I am living close to Mainz. As a german Soldier I was stationed on Hahn Air Base in Fall 1990. Today I am one of the German liasion officers to Spangdahlem Air Base in the Eifel area.

Hi Lads,

I will be off for the next 5 months because I'm on the way to the Kosovo. See you all again in August.
