This goes in the Dental Officer's kit. Too bad I don't have any of the instruments.

Yes dental equipment is Class 5 but...

Could it be the item 9704000 (Case, Dental Instrument, Empty) as probably illustrated in "Chest, Dental, Pack A"? (Probably because I don't know neither the content of "Chest, Dental, Pack A" nor the content of 9704000... )

If so, do some of you guys have an idea of the correct content of both?

Fred

Hi Fred,

I also have Item # 9704000 in my collection, and when I purchased same I tired to find a definitive list of contents. However, I was not able to do so as MED6 (March 1944) does not list any contents for the Case. The only indication of the correct contents can be found by looking at which Kits the Case was found in. For example, Item # 9704000 was found in the Dental Officer's Kit - you can read more about it here > http://www.med-dept.com/dent_kits.php.

I can also confirm that it was found in Chest, Dental, Pack A (Item # 9502200). As per your request, here is a full list of contents for Item # 9502200 (Dental Pack A). Unfortunately, as you can see, it doesn't indicate exactly which instruments were stored inside the Case for Dental Instruments:

I hope the above is of some use to you.

Thanks,
Ben :)
