Well, whilst walking around the Ciney Expo this weekend, I noticed that one of the traders was using something very interesting to store and display his items -- an original (although post-war) tray set, with original brackets for the upright supports. After numerous failed attempts to get him to sell it to me, I had to settle on just photographs of the brackets (after he claimed that he needed them to display and pack away his things!) As can be seen in the pictures the guy had 3 of them, all complete with their inserts too:
These are the first originals that I have ever seen, and know that some of the members on the forum were also looking for detailed images of the brackets on the tray set. Hope that help.
If you look on the extreme right of the first image, you can see the post-war markings on the front of the tray set (note the Caduceus flanked with US - using a squared font as opposed to the early round font).
