Dave,
The tables and folding chairs are located in France. If you can wait until next summer though, I can pick some up from a militaria fair which the vendor attends, but I still think that postage is going to make this somewhat impracticable, though.
Thanks,
Ben ;)

Were we ever able to get the dimensions of the box? I need to build one this winter to complete my Chest 4 set.

I haven't found anything yet Dave. I'm working on a guestimate, but only have sizes for the desk and table/chairs. If nothing else comes up, I may have some estimated dimensions in a couple of weeks for you to try.

Nicholas,
What exactly is it that you're looking for dimensions for? I can make plans if there is still some interest in these.
Thanks,
Ben ;)

Quote [Hi guys,
I have a source for some of the tables and chairs. They are actually French copies that were produced in 1950s in France for the Military. They're not particularly expensive, but I think that postage to the US would make any kind of deal unrealistic. I have sent four of the chairs to another member of the Forum, to complete his MD 4. I can try to send comparison pictures if anyone is interested.
Regards,
Ben ]

Hello Ben,can you still get hold of the french tables ? if so what sort of money are they going for thanks, matt

I'd be interested in proper plans, as I am working backwards from photos.

Hello Ben,

I am looking for dimensions for the inner cabinet (as shown in the picture). Dave has been helping me with some dimensions. Anything you may have would be helpful.

Thanks

I'll try and get a price on the French-copied tables and let you know. Off the top of my head they're around £30 - £40 including the chairs, but I might be wrong.

Thanks,
Ben :)

I recently aquired a folding table and two chairs. I would also be interested in the dimensions of the box that was being discussed in this thread and any photo's and info as to how the tables and chairs packed into the chest. Thanks in advance,

Hello,

I would like to have the dimensions of the drawers included in the cabinet stationery of the Chest MD 4. Does anyone has a drawing or such information ? The must would be a drawing of the cabinet stationery with dimensions...

Thanks a lot.

Eric
