Hi all and especially littlelotte,
this is my tribute to discussion about Chest Flight Service.
See below mine with some items regulary contained in this "rare" chest.
Difficult to fill it up.
The lock is manufactured by Eagle Lock Co. and the chest by Supreme Medical Equipment Co. New York
Can tell me more about the marks stenciled on front:
UAC 2088 and G 7672 ??

Your chest is in very good condition, mine is a little battered and brused, I think it was use as a tool box at some time.
I found it at an antiques werehouse and cost the princely sum of £22

Allow me to consult my books and documentation relating to item marking and shipping codes (which I believe these markings to be). I shall report any findings as and when I make them.
