Tent Poles

Sun Sep 28, 2014 22:17

I have 2 questions I hope someone can help me with.
1. Are the upright poles for the Tent, Wall, Large the same as for the Tent, Pyramidal, M-1934 ? If they are not the same what are the cross section dimensions of the poles for the Tent, Wall, Large ?

2. What are the cross section dimensions of the ridge pole for the Tent, Wall, Large ?

I have looked everywhere and cannot find this information.

Thanks

Hello PAdoc,

As I saw on the QM 3-4 of 1945, the poles for the Tent Wall Large are the same as the ones for the Tent Pyramidal. The stock number is the same (24-P-266). I have to check my pyramidal pole tomorrow to give you the cross section dimension.

Unfortunately, for the pole ridge, I've no information...

hope this will help you, and another member find the pole ridge dimension for you...

Friendly,
Eric

Eric
Thanks for the information. That was just what I needed to know. Actually I don't need the cross section of the upright now that I know they are the same, as I have a pyrimidal pole for reference.

Maybe someone else out there knows the ridge pole cross section dimensions.

Thanks again,
Dirk

Hi PAdoc,

I had this sketch in my data bank on my computer. The section of the upright pole is good, it may be good for the ridge pole... It seems good...
