Airborne help

Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:33

I found the area of the site for what a medics bag would contain...but could anyone direct me to a site or something that would list what a medic's loadout would be for a jump? What else would a medic carry? Sorry for all the questions, but we are forming a new unit made up of re-enactors from years past, that has never had a medic. I don't have anyone to ask these questions. Thank you for any help!

Take a look at the Michel De Trez book on Doc Mcilvoy,(Regt Surgeon 505th PIR) The way we were No 3. A must for any airborne medic re-enactor.

ALL THE WAY!

Hi Darren,
Loz has pointed you in the correct direction - Michel's book is a great resource for any Airborne Medical buff, and will almost certainly answer your question. What unit are you looking to put together?
Thanks,
Ben ;)
