Flag, Ambulance & Marker

Wed Aug 08, 2007 22:15

Hi Guys,

I wonder if anyone can help me locate a source for this item. A post war example would be OK, should one be available. Here's a photo showing what the flag looks like:

Thanks in advance,
Ben :)

Ben:

Do you have a size? Something similar here may be available through a local broker - 1960's dates on white cotton or muslin.

Hi Dave,

This sounds very interesting indeed, and the description seems to match the post-War examples of these I have seen. The size of the item should be a 12" Red Cross, on an 18" x 27" White flag.

Let me know what size these possible items are.

Thanks,
Ben

will do - I think they are smaller - about 12"x18", but will check over the weekend (between events)

Actual size worked out to be 12" x 24" with an 8" Red Cross - 1960's dated - NOT WW2 pattern.

Thanks for the heads-up Bill, I'll head over to AW and check out their reproduction flags.

Thanks again,
Ben
