Litter Bearer Straps?

Sat Apr 19, 2008 02:15

Does anyone know where I can get Litter Straps? I just want to make sure I'm correct, but weren't they used to help distort the weight of the stretcher?

This is a sister post to the first post on this thread. Does anyone know where I can get an actual Medical Litter? WWII or WWI. They are pretty rare.

Hi Guys,
The price of litters really depends on a number of things; type, condition, date etc. Have seen regular straight aluminum litters range anywhere from literally $10 a piece to $150!

I have several post-war litters (NOS) remarked to look WWII - wooden handles - OD canvas in Denver $35 ea + shipping

Here's what they look like in use (OD not Khaki) post-war dates, but I can apply white circle & maroon cadeusis to cover FCDA markings. These are NOT WWII litters.

marking photo to follow

shipping is expensive - to NJ was $45 to $65 with no insurance or guarantee!!

I have!!

I need your shipping address - will investigate UPS ground freight costs for you then will let you know their quote. I will send the unit PPD, then you can pay for it all upon arrival. I'll expect payment within 10 days in US funds, unless you want to pay in Euros or Canadian dollars. (offer withdrawn - too expensive!)

ADDENDUM: Freight to NJ was $45 to $65 - pretty pricy! I'd encourage you to keep looking unless you are really committed. I'll ship PPD based on DHL's estimate & will refund any surplus or send any overage as COD, but cannot afford to gamble $80 Personally, I think it's too expensive.
