Hello Ben,
I have an army WWII or MASH medical operating unit.. A metal box with metal poles. An operating light and lenses as new.. Was made in New York.. Looks like new.. Battery's were taken out years ago, so no acid spill or corrosion..
Olive drab and red cross on top..

Sounds like a field surgical lamp kit (Lamp, Operating, Field 99315). Is it in a large metal box with screw-together iron pipe or poles - one has a 90 degree bend in it, and it can operate on several different currents (6v, 12v, 120v and 240v)? These are major heavy units - I think they weigh about 90 lbs each. Anybody need one here in the western US? No shipping available - too darned heavy for that!

What are you asking for it? We will need one and for the right price, I think we can figure out a way to come get it.

I have 4 - 2 are unused & are $100 each The other two I have used in my display a few times (the bulb socket is the large mogul base type and I had to buy a $3.99 adapter at Home Depot to make it work with regular 120v bulbs.

Yes, it's one of the Operating Lights. I have one already in my collection, but these seem to be getting rarer now!

Thanks,
Ben :)

If you'll hold them for me for a couple of months, I will take those two off your hands for $100 a piece. Are you planning on keeping the two other ones?

Yes - we use one to light up the squad tent at night & the other in the aid station after hours. They take a 150w reflector flood and seem to do very well. All are NOS - if I remember they all come with original bulbs, etc. No problem holding on to them - I've had them for a couple of years.

Care to get a few NOS litters at the same time? I think I'm down to 10 or 12 (I'll have to look). These are late-war OG7 color with post war "FCDA" stencils. Pulled 'em from the crate myself - a little dusty from storage but otherwise like new.

Hi gang,
Following a militaria fair here in the UK today, I have now been able to secure Slippers, Cotton, Size 2 (Item # 7901010), so these are no longer required.
Regards,
Ben.
