We thank you, and hope that whatever happens in the coming months and years offers NO negative impact on all of your home countries and on our shared hobby.

Yeah, I am happy with the outcome. I think we'll have a good 4 years out of Obama

I knew I shouldn't have read this, but I have to comment:
Obama will not be the change he says he will be....The next four years will not be better, he is not better...
I will engage the reasons why, but if it get's heated, will decline...

I think it would be fine, we can keep it civil here.
Please go on...

Probably best not get into a political debate, just suffice to say I have my reasons, having watched this chap over a period of time and past experiences with groovy sax players, cheesy grin guitar players, and iron ladies running our countries and making a mess of it...People have a series of short memories...

This is my opinion and my opinion only. I will not get into a political debate, and will share my thoughts. This will my one and only post on this subject. I think one needs to look at the changes Hitler made in Germany, the events leading up to and in the war, then seriously take a look at President Obama's agenda. Many folks will be surprised at the similiarities.....Socialism, Socialism, Socialism, loss of freedom. Our founding fathers would have a heartattack if they were here today. THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION AND DOES NOT REFLECT OTHERS THOUGHTS AND IS NOT POSTED TO BEGIN A HEATED AMERICAN POLITICAL DISCUSSION.

I too do not wish to see a political debate here, but cannot resist the urge to offer my one time comment. In short, I completely agree with the sentiments Littlelotte and Jumpwings recently expressed. I am a patriotic American and support my country, but I see the current trend in Washington as very worrysome.

Thanks for your numerous comments and contributions to this thread. I think that the topic has now served its purpose to congratulate our American members on their new President, and so I have decided to lock same in order to avoid any further political discussion.
Thanks for your understanding,
