11th November

Tue Nov 11, 2008 07:53

Hi All,
Today is November 11 - for Europeans, this is the Day we celebrate the end (Armistice) of World War 1 .
For the United States, today is Veterans' Day .
Let us REMEMBER all those who gave their lives for FREEDOM and LIBERTY, in WW1 and in WW2 .

"ALL GAVE SOME, WHILE SOME GAVE ALL !"

Have a nice day .
Alain :)

Im a bit late, although thanks for posting!
The November 11th is also the date of gaining the Independece by Poland after 123 years of partitions by Austria-Hungary, Germany and Russia. Our country would again appear on the maps.

God bless all who fought for our freedom.
