Hi ALL,
Actively working on some Unit Histories & Personal Testimonies - desperately looking for period-ILLUSTRATIONS of following medical organizations :

42d FIELD HOSPITAL
44th EVACUATION HOSPITAL
105th EVACUATION HOSPITAL
108th GENERAL HOSPITAL
182d GENERAL HOSPITAL
324th MEDICAL BATTALION

At one point, the 203rd and the 108th General Hospital units joined up in Normandy, and began working together to construct a tent hospital. I have some pictures of this joint effort posted on the 203rd site, starting with image 20 on the following page:

May also have some additional pictures here at home, among those not posted. Let me know if you want me to dig for them. The pictures aren't the greatest quality, but neither were the conditions under which they were taken and developed. Some of the Testimonies from the members of the 203rd GH which are posted on your site, discuss the project.

The tent hospital was being constructed near Cherbourg, August, 1944.
