I came across your site looking for my Aunt who is a "War Bride" from England who married my Uncle. She is 85 yrs now and my Uncle American is now gone. He was in WW2. My Aunt remembers coming over on the USAT Willard A. Holbrook and that lead me to your site. She was 20 yrs then and remembers all the events of her 11 day journey on the "Holbrook" with other war brides excited to live in America and see their American GI's (Husbands). Again thank you for a great site I am a school teacher by profession and you have done a wonderful job in honoring our men and women..

I was doing research on a possible WWII artifact to verify its authenticity about the location it was found. I found the information here very informative in this pursuit and generally very well done. Thank you.

We started researching 188th few years ago. My father in law, Carl T. Naylor, Ohio, began his service in Camp Robinson, AK. in 1943, then he was shipped to Cirencester, England & assisted the process of setting up the 188th. We received a list of the soldiers that served in 188th in Cirencester, England from Mr Leo Morabito, NJ. We located Mr. William Tilley in n.Georgia & received other information. We have met Mr Tilley & Mr Morabito at different times. We have pictures, day reports & General orders from the archives. We would like to hear & meet others that served, was a patient or families of any of the before mentioned. When we first started searching no information was available, we only had Mr Naylors pictures & d/c papers. Now look at the responses! Thank you all, ESPECIALLY you WWll vets!
