Loading Table 25 Medical Detachment – Infantry Regiment Ft. Benning Infantry School Training Bulletin No. 1 (1 November 1943)
The following data were compiled from Chapter 2 – Reference Data, The Infantry Regiment, prepared and published by the Infantry School, Ft. Benning, Georgia, and distributed with the approval of the Commanding General, Army Ground Forces (ref. 3344 Benning 12-8-43 6,000).
Between 1943 and 1944 personnel modifications were minimal, and while T/O 7-11, dated 1 March 1943, listed total manpower as 9 Officers and 103 Enlisted Men, T/O 7-11 dated 26 February 1944, indicated that the Medical Detachment with an Infantry Regiment (Infantry Division) consisted of 9 Officers and 126 EM.
The subdivision remained, i.e. 1 Headquarters Section and 3 Battalion Medical Sections. The number of vehicles remained unchanged, i.e. 8 Trucks and 7 Trailers.
